Electronic Position Sender
An inexpensive device for providing a simulated NMEA feed to a marine DSC radio transceiver to simulate a fixed position.
This is useful when the set is used in a fixed location and expects a regular position update signal.
Versions are available for all models of SAILOR® DSC transceivers and modems including a universal version.

SPARC-bus Digital Interface (SBDI)
A universal device for providing isolated inputs and relay outputs for ECI® / Thrane & Thrane® 4000-series VHF transceivers.
This includes SAILOR®models RT4800/RT4801/RT4722/RT4822, Skanti® VHF1000-series and OEM equivalents.
Units are programmed to individual customer requirements.
A typical use would be to provide a standard contact-closure PTT facility.
Includes red, amber and green LEDs on top panel for user indication.

Intelligent SPARC-bus Audio Interface (SBDI)
A device which combines the functions of the SBDI (see above) and of a fully-featured dual-output Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) interface.
The firmware is specially-programmed to provide many combinations of functionality according to customer specification.
Provides an alternative interface to the RT4822 dumb handset, allowing remote-control operation.

RF Power Reduction Unit (RFPRU)
This is a particular software application of the SPARC-bus Digital Interface (see above).
It is a general-purpose device for automatically lowering the RF output level of a VHF transceiver in respose to an external event.
Return to high power can be automatic, or manually actioned by operator.
Optically-isolated input can either be volt-free contact closure or dc voltage, both normal and inverted.
Optional remote low-power indication via relay contacts. Optional optically-isolated remote reset facility.
Includes useful SPARC-bus activity monitoring facility and regular testing function when bus is inactive.

RT4822 Microphone Interface
This unit is designed for when a desk or gooseneck type microphone needs to be used with a SAILOR® RT4X22 transceiver.
Suitable for models of microphone within the Shure® range.
PTT input (optionally optically-isolated) can be by switch on desk microphone or by footswitch for hands-free operation.
Provides correct timing of OFF-HOOK signal and correctly prioritises operation in a multi-user installation.
Designed to be an integral part of fixed installation in fast-moving vessel or tug-boat, or for base station use.
Includes internal emergengy PTT button in case of foot-switch failure etc.
Includes variable-gain preamplifier to suit different microphone sensitivities, adjustable at installation.
Optional variable output attenuator allowing use with headset.
Includes LED's for operator information.

Externally-powered predialer for Thrane & Thrane® Mini-M or SAILOR® Sat-B systems
Designed to be part of a secure crew-calling installation when pre-paid phonecards are in use.
Uses standard telephone equipment and automatically siezes phone line and dials access code without operator intervention.
Has tamper detection and hidden line-disconnect function to deter defeat of the payment system.
Can be supplied in fixed access code form for service providers or in universal form with access code configurable with internal jumpers.
External power supply means that no power is taken from satellite transceiver allowing long cables to be used.
Standard unit provides for connection of one telephone. Mutually-exclusive dual telephone version can be provided by special order.
Unit has no external connections, thus discouraging fraudulent bypassing. All connections are internal.

SAILOR® R2022 and Compact 2000 EEPROM replacement module
This is a tiny module that fits in the positions of the obsolete MCM2802P EEPROM devices, but using modern components.
Enables return to service of these very credible and well-performing general coverage receivers, but ensure that psu is repaired first.
Development of this product is incomplete. We are looking for a sponsor who can provide a (defective) R2022 unit for loan.
