Marine-use Receiver Range
AIS Sea Scope 1900 (dual channel)
This version is designed to be used as a receiver and control unit for the SAILOR KDU1905 AIS keyboard and display unit. It is used where an attractive and compact console or desk-mounted display is required which contrasts well with other bridge equipment.
- Housed in smart black enclosure with prominent KATAS logo.
- Has backlit 4-line by 20-character alphanumeric LCD display for configuration feedback.
- Has same current-loop NMEA GPS input facility as Sea Scope Plus model.
- Has four control buttons for local configuration as unit cannot be configured by RS232 interface.
- Has bi-directional RS422 interface for connection to display unit.
- Has output-only RS232 interface for simultaneous computer monitoring via charting program such as ShipPlotter, perhaps in captain's cabin.
